big dataLate last week i received I request for an interview from @SAFM  on the topic of big data, fake news and social media.

This was in response to the article Social media – the link between Big Data, fake news and defining your own narrative, which came out earlier this month.

In part one of the three part interview we talk about the difference between data and big data, we talk about emerging trends to manage big data – including data governance and data quality, and we talk about the challenges that siloed data creates for companies attempting to use big data to gain advantage,
